The Wilson Livestock Agency is owned by Stuart and Ann Wilson, who represent the American Live Stock Insurance Company. We specialize in cattle insurance and offer many types of equine insurance.

About Our Agency

Stuart grew up on and continues to live on the fourth generation family farm in central Illinois. He has spent a lifetime raising and showing Shorthorn cattle. After earning a degree in animal science at Western Illinois University, he worked on his masters at the University of Missouri.

Stuart has been affiliated with American Live Stock Insurance since 1972. In 1974, he became publisher of The Shorthorn World magazine and established a friendship with Clint Tomson and Duncan Alexander.

His wife, Ann, who has an agricultural background in cattle and Quarter Horses, assists him with the insurance agency which specializes in cattle and horse coverage.

American Live Stock Insurance Company was founded in 1952. Since 1976 it has consistently received an A+ Superior financial rating from A.M. Best. It is the premier livestock insurer in the United States, where animal mortality insurance is their primary business.
